Verizon Wireless has launched the Palm Pre Plus. The handset measures 100.5mm x 59.5mm x 17mm (2.3in x 3.9in x 0.7in). It features 16GB of storage, aGPS, a 3 megapixel camera with flash, a vibrant 3.1-inch 480 x 320 multi-touch display, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Living up to its name, the Pre Plus can actually double as a mobile hotspot device, which means you can connect to it using a WiFi capable device, like another smartphone or a laptop. The CPU that is in the phone got a plus-sized enhancement that allows for the new 3D gaming. Verizon Wireless estimates that the Pre Plus will be available beginning on January 25th.
